It’s a proud little girl who dresses herself and enjoys the fun of it. Monochromatic always reminds me of Garanimals, a reflection of my youth – and my age. She wears it well. Can’t stop singing “Flying Purple People Eater” though…
Good Clean Fun

It never ceases to amaze me the $$$ we shell out for our kids to have a good time! I have been watching her play all summer in this dirt pile, she is sometimes mesmorized by it. Today a group of them were making “ice cream.” All you need is water and good clean dirt and VOILA!

Seriously you don’t even need to buy or build a sandbox, unnecessary. It’s really quite simple. Just buy a bag of dirt or use left over dirt from your garden, or a shaded area where the grass won’t grow. Any type of bucket or pot will be converted into tools of their trade. Today she was covered up to her elbows and even had some dirt on her face. Looked like some mad chef cooking up some serious fun! Talk about a green, organic, activity!

How did you celebrate the longest day of 2011? She did in the sun of course, and ended resting in a hammock with a friend. This is part of any Waldorf or Nature oriented children’s gear.
